The Plant City EDC is the primary economic development organization for the City of Plant City, FL. We target capital intensive and high paying industries to create jobs and grow the local tax base. A key factor for our organization’s success is the availability of developable land. To ensure long-term marketability, we are promoting voluntary annexations for landowners seeking higher land values and a pro-business municipal government dedicated to customer service. Endless growth is not the goal. Long-term sustainability is the goal. We collaborate with our public sector partners to identify annexation opportunities that align with our strategic plan.
