Marlon Lynn – Architect

Though born elsewhere, Marlon grew up in Haines City, Florida, and considers the Sunshine State his home. During his teenage years and early adulthood, Marlon, with the help of his father, built and raced stock cars, and continues to enjoy tinkering with mechanical things.

Following high school, Marlon moved on to the University of Florida, where he earned both his undergraduate and graduate degrees in architecture. Between his undergraduate and graduate work, he studied European architectural design in Italy, and served as the architectural consultant on an archeological dig in Peru.

In addition to his broad professional knowledge, Marlon brings a diverse set of skills into his work with clients. His view of good design is that the finished structure should best serve the business operations of the client, fit comfortably within the client’s financing limitations, and provide the client the best construction value possible.

The father of three, Marlon and wife Katrina enjoy camping and traveling with their children. The entire family is very active in their church as well as a number of other community organizations.
